At Aloa Vacances, we know that the success of your vacation sometimes depends on the weather. To help you book with complete peace of mind, we’ve developed an innovative solution: SunSecure Aloa.

The goal is simple: if it rains, SunSecure makes up for the inconvenience with direct financial compensation.
🛠️ Simple and transparent operation
- Easy enrollment: You can choose this option when you book, up to 15 days before your arrival date;
- Automated analysis: No need to contact us or fill out any forms. Every morning at 9 a.m., the weather forecasts from the HRES model of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) are automatically analyzed and trigger a payout if the conditions specified in the contract are met;
- Direct compensation: If the precipitation conditions specified in the contract are met, the insurance company will contact you by email within 48 hours to process your compensation payment;
- Flexibility in use: This compensation is deposited into your account; you can use it for leisure activities, a meal out, or your future vacation plans.

💰 Simple and affordable protection
Add the Sunsecure option to your reservation for a minimal additional fee:
- Cost: +€2/night (low season) or +€4/night (high season);
- Benefit: receive €25 (low season) or €50 (high season) per rainy day.
The math is simple: just one rainy day is enough to more than cover the cost of your coverage for your entire stay!
🔍 Details and Coverage
SunSecure is automatically triggered when all of the following conditions are met on the same day:
- At least 4 hours of rain;
- Between 9:00 a.m. and 7:59 p.m.;
- With at least 1 mm of rain per hour;
- Measured at the campground;
- The hours may or may not be consecutive;
- The day of departure is not covered by SunSecure.
Weather data consists of independent weather forecasts (ECMWF’s HRES model), measured every morning at 9 a.m..

To help clarify things, here is some additional information
- The “Low Season” runs from April 4 through July 3 and from August 30 through September 13.
- The “High Season” period runs from July 4 to August 29.
If a stay spans both high and low season, the first day of the stay determines whether it falls during high or low season.
🔍 A few examples
- For example, a stay from July 3 to July 10 begins during the low season: the entire stay will therefore be covered under the low-season rates;
- For example, a stay in a mobile home from August 20 to September 1 that begins on the first day of the high season: the entire stay will therefore be covered under the high-season rate.
