Explore the island of Oleron on a camping holiday<\/h2>

TheIle d’Ol\u00e9ron<\/strong> is located in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Charente-Maritime, where it forms part of the Charente archipelago. At 30 km long and 12 km wide (at its widest point), it is the largest island in mainland France after Corsica<\/strong>, and is nicknamed ” Ol\u00e9ron, La Lumineuse<\/strong> ” for its high level of sunshine.<\/p>

On the continental side of the island, renowned for its calm, safe waters, come and enjoy the beach 2800 meters<\/strong> from the campsite in St Georges d’Ol\u00e9ron <\/strong>, with a breathtaking view of the famous<\/strong> Fort Boyard.<\/p>

You can also take a sea trip<\/a>!<\/p>

Just 3000 m from the Ol\u00e9ron Loisirs campsite, the port of Le Douhet<\/strong>, one of the liveliest spots on the Ile d’Ol\u00e9ron, will delight you with its restaurants, bars, discos and water sports (sailing, jet skiing…).<\/p>
